okay so just to clear up a few wacky misconceptions:

banks IS in fact available and as it sits is our #2. whether he uses his red shirt or its pulled TBD
We have in fact pulled a persons redshirt during the season, actually well into the season to be accurate.
Snyder controls injuries thus the reason he has rarely pulled a kids red shirt off into the season.

Any updates on whether Jonathan Banks is getting considerable reps at practice?  I doubt seriously that Joe Huebner will be able to carry the weight without a break, until Delton returns.

For the thousandth time, he's red shirting. I feel like we need a pinned thread that says:

BANKS ISN'T AVAILABLE!

I am reading this as he is not available to play, which means he can't play.

I should have been more precise, but people were coming on this board asking for Banks updates, even after they announced he was red shirting. People were still asking after we knew Delton wouldn't red shirt and we had 3 quarterbacks at the time. It was just becoming redundant, but obviously it's up for discussion now since Ertz and Delton are made of glass. I still don't think he'll pull it tho.

Who in their right sense would go into a game without a back up QB?  Whether he plays, thus loses his redshirt was not my question.  It was and remains is he getting reps as back up, and if so has there been an update on his progress?

Good questions. My assumption is that Banks is currently #2 and practicing as such, but no one has said that officially.
