Didn't want to start a new thread, but 2024 Master's champ and total stud Scottie Scheffler got arrested en route to his round at the Player's this morning. He proceeded to get out and shoot a round of -5 today.

I have spent, conservatively, over 100 hours at Top Golf and have never seen someone fall into the netting, which is a little disappointing.

More likely that some clubs with insufficient Stickum will accidentally get launched 30 or so yards

If you are open to some notes, I would say you don't have to settle for the english muffin. like yeah, i know, you obviously would have put that badboy betwixt two flavor pillows (ciabatta) and you were out of ciabatta but everything else was already prepped so it was like "okay guess we gotta thaw these english muffins at the bottom of the freezer that have probably been there for like 8 years"

and in a pinch, that's fine! but i know you're capable of doing great things, tom. no self limitations.

yeup. i kinda started to believe when we had that nice little 12-3 stretch but clearly that was a fluke. I might allow myself to believe again once both Senga and Alvarez are healthy. Assuming things remain more or less the same, who do you think we will be selling around the trade deadline? I have a feeling McNeil probably. I know Pete is a FA after this season and he's my favorite met and i want him to stay a met forever but i wouldn't be surprised if he went byebye, unless he just really wanted to stay (and honestly i wouldn't blame him for wanting to go to greener pastures)

I’m still waiting for anyone to provide a reasonable justification for Israel’s genocide-in-progress so I can only assume any politician - irrespective of party affiliation - is only supporting Israel because some defense contractors are one of their major donors. There is otherwise absolutely no logical reason. Israel’s actions are becoming increasingly unpopular, esp with the recent whistleblower revelations from actual IDF soldiers, so the only reason a politician could possibly go in the complete opposite direction of their constituency is because of who is giving them the most amount of money.
