Never got why everyone thought the FNL finale was so great. I think the only times I cried were during a couple Saracen scenes.

Shameless on the other hand, I've bawled during 3-4 episodes. What a strange show. Makes you think it's like "It's Always Sunny" where you kind of just laugh at the characters and view them as a spectacle and then BAM! they hit you with an episode where you realize you love them more than your own family.

My wife got hooked on the show and is now hooked on the books. She made it past the red wedding last week so I got the wtf from her a few days early.

Also can't wait until the end of book 5 gets here in the show people are gonna flip the eff out... Again

Yes, Maron has a nice pleasant grip on my balls area and has made my weekly lineup of shows to watch.

It's just a really nice viewing experience.

yeah I did. went back through the whole episode again today and still couldn't find a dying buffalo. there's a very brief shot of a herd of buffalo towards the end of the epi but they don't even talk about them and I didn't get the impression that any of them died. whatever. I give up.

I've actually heard that a couple of times. Too bad ,but good to know it's still worth watching.

i will not ruin it for you (im notorious for spoilers) but i would like to hear your thoughts on the tempo once you finish season 2.

You know KSC, I have to agree. I don't think it lived up to the expectations that season one set but it was still very good. I was able to watch the entire season in three days (was on vacation) It definitely started off slower then season one, but it did pick up as the season went on. I was actually getting a little pissed off watching the season finale and thinking to myself this is kind of boring and then BOOM, off goes the bomb in Brody's car! That completely caught me off guard. Season 3's story line will obviously focus on Carrie trying to clear Brody's name. I think they go a lot of different directions with that one. Definitely looking forward to Season three!

yeah, my issue with season two was they had so much build up to the good stuff and then it just seemed rushed. like 3 episodes and al jazir or whatever his name is was toasted. just like that. i mean, really? yeah, the bomb going off made left a lot of room but i felt like they could have made it more of a thriller for longer. doesnt seem like the kind of show that will go more than 4 seasons...

I'd be happy with four seasons. Anything more than that and it would just be dragging it out.

Not a jaw dropping finale like I hoped but I really enjoyed this season a lot more than the last 2
