Stitt would be intriguing, especially if he continues having success at Montana.

He is an innovator which is really important when you are undertalented.

Well he's 4-3 in his first year at Montana with losses to Weber State, Cal Poly, and Turner Gill's Liberty Flames. His vaunted offense is averaging a blistering 27 ppg. Sooooo can we please stop talking about him in hope/change/dreams thread and maybe save him for the guy we'd pick if like 12 people told us no thread?

I'm in Montana and watch the Griz every weekend. Stitt is in no way ready for a P5 head coach job. Coordinator, maybe. He only makes 175K here.

Idk. USC has a weird infatuation with hiring NFL ties or ties to their program.  If Claeys at Minny does well the rest of the way, they may just promote him.  Illinois and Maryland will hire turds.  The U hire will disappoint again.

SEC schools love the hot assistant or rising star hires from their league/area so that could be interesting.

Sean should go cut his teeth on that UNT job.

I heard Claeys is from Clay Center, KS.  I'm sure he's GPC's leading candidate to replace The Legend!

He is, and he looks exactly like you would expect someone from CC to look.

So, is Bielma an unworthy candidate if he's fired at Arky?

Coaches for a fanbase/school that kept on Houston Nutt for the better part of a decade. Not getting fired.

This guy would be the absolute worst candidate. He would send wildcat football back to the dark ages.

After being seizure free for a year or two, Jerry will get that itch to coach and he is PERFECT for Jon Currie
In December of 2016 a rejuvenated Jerry Kills comes "home"

Last night they showed that Tracy Claeaeys guy's pregame lockerroom speech to get the Gophs all fired up to win one for the Gipper. It was insanely boring. We will definitely hire him. :flush:
