You couldn't even get McDermott.
And even if you got Huggins, you'd have to win the big 12 more than half the time and go to the ncaa tournament for 17 years straight to be even comparable to ku. So... I don't think ku basketball has much to worry about.
I do find one thing absolutely hilarious about all this. It sounds like Mizzou and Kstate want Huggins badly. Whichever one gets him, the other will have to play Huggy, twice, every year. And whichever one doesn't get him, will probably want to fire their AD.
We didn't want McDermott. He was never offered the job, contrary to ESPN's false reporting.
In the past twelve months, Bill Self has lost to Bucknell, Nevada AT HOME, Kansas State AT HOME, and Bradley. I think it's safe to say that HomoHigh has PLENTY to worry about and it's about to get a whole lot more worrisome.
Huggins is a done deal and we're just waiting for the announcement.

I'll believe an espn report over you any day. You offerred McDermott.
And in the past twelve months, Bill Self has won coach of the year in the Big 12, started 3 freshman and 2 sophomores who won the Big 12 season, the Big 12 tournament, and again attended the Ncaa tourney. The loss to a sweet 16 Bradley team, while disappointing, isn't a bad sign. After owning the Big 12(again, much like every year), with the youngest starting team I've ever witnessed, I can only imagine how much ass they'll kick when they're more experienced. Hard to worry about anything having won all there is to win in the Big 12.
So yeah... all you can list is a few losses. I can list actual trophies. And no, Huggins isn't a done deal, and even if he was, he won't be the demi-god you've all made him out to be.
