Two week waiting period ends on Thursday, and coincidentally that is the same day that KSU will be interviewing Mr. Robert Huggins for the position of Head Basketball Coach at THE Kansas STATE University.

I predict that Mr. Huggins will happily accept the offer and the area media will fuel the gay-u meltdown with all of the coaching legends past "issues".  Then, the complete ownership of the flaw-on-the-kaw will soon commence.

Thank me for my time.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

You couldn't even get McDermott.

And even if you got Huggins, you'd have to win the big 12 more than half the time and go to the ncaa tournament for 17 years straight to be even comparable to ku. So... I don't think ku basketball has much to worry about.

I do find one thing absolutely hilarious about all this. It sounds like Mizzou and Kstate want Huggins badly. Whichever one gets him, the other will have to play Huggy, twice, every year. And whichever one doesn't get him, will probably want to fire their AD.
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

No, the only one trembling at the possible Huggins hire is you. You'll likely collapse and crap yourself if you don't get him.

We didn't want McDermott.  He was never offered the job, contrary to ESPN's false reporting.

In the past twelve months, Bill Self has lost to Bucknell, Nevada AT HOME, Kansas State AT HOME, and Bradley.  I think it's safe to say that HomoHigh has PLENTY to worry about and it's about to get a whole lot more worrisome.

Huggins is a done deal and we're just waiting for the announcement.

I'll believe an espn report over you any day. You offerred McDermott.

And in the past twelve months, Bill Self has won coach of the year in the Big 12, started 3 freshman and 2 sophomores who won the Big 12 season, the Big 12 tournament, and again attended the Ncaa tourney. The loss to a sweet 16 Bradley team, while disappointing, isn't a bad sign. After owning the Big 12(again, much like every year), with the youngest starting team I've ever witnessed, I can only imagine how much ass they'll kick when they're more experienced. Hard to worry about anything having won all there is to win in the Big 12.

So yeah... all you can list is a few losses. I can list actual trophies. And no, Huggins isn't a done deal, and even if he was, he won't be the demi-god you've all made him out to be.

You, crapdick, are a dumbass.

The Huggy deal has been done for nearly a week, and the powers that be are simply waiting to make an announcement so as to maximize our ("our" meaning ALL KSU students, fans and alums) university's exposure during the weekend of the Final Four.   While we bask in the limelight your little faggot team won't even be mentioned.

It's funny how your post reeks of fear.  We are all laughing at you right now.

Matching the exposure garnered from having your top-4 seeded basketball team lose in the first round of the NCAA tourney in consecutive years is hard to match.  The minutes of airtime gained on Sportscenter, the "Biggest Chokes in Sports History" videos, and constant replays on CBS are tough to beat.  You win the 05-06 State of Kansas Basketball Exposure Award.  Enjoy.

WE are.  I agree.

12 of the last 13 in the big money sport (the one only played by men), and a split this year in your pet team's favorite game(also played by women) with a win at Phag Coliseum pretty much says it all.

OUR university appreciates the dollars you donate to the betterment of all academic and athletic endeavors.

You are a K-State student, aren't you?

And yet your AD tried to sign McDermott....

ku doesn't need exposure. Everyone around the nation who follows basketball knows of the Kansas Jayhawks. You're the only one in the state of Kansas who needs exposure.

False on McDermott.

Soon, the whole nation will know the faggots as our ("our" meaning ALL KSU students, fans and alums) personal bitches in BOTH revenue sports instead of just the "big money" one.

Y'all had a nice little run.

We are doing better in both major sports.

WE are.

Head to head scores mean dick when it comes to the direction of a program. I could care less that ku has beaten Kstate 31 out of the last 32 games when it comes to looking at the prestige of our program versus yours.

ku attended post season in football and basketball. Kstate didn't attend postseason in either. ku won the Big 12 in basketball. Kstate wasn't in the top half. ku has an incredible recruiter and good coach in Bill Self. Kstate has no coach.

So... you can have the head to head ever year if you want. I'll take the better season overall every time.
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

Yes, he is...but apparently not one who has taken "Intro to Formal Logic".

Man...

considering that Goldy believes some reporter of ESPN's website as a sure sign of "fact" should tell you enough.

Didn't Katz also predict a final four finish for ku?

Makes perfect sense whne you think about it.

Theres a difference between something predicted and something reported as fact. I dont' know what Katz predicted. I know Jay Bilas had ku in the final four.

And I said I believe what an espn reporter says over what Bookie Pimp says.

You'd be unwise to believe that over Bookie.

But you always were.

You couldn't even get McDermott.

And even if you got Huggins, you'd have to win the big 12 more than half the time and go to the ncaa tournament for 17 years straight to be even comparable to ku. So... I don't think ku basketball has much to worry about.

if huggins stayed long enough he'd accomplish those things.  the guy has a much better record of accomplishments than self and frankly is a better coach.  self gets outcoached way more often than than he outcoaches anyone.  ku will never sniff a final 4 under self.

most of that is roy williams accomplishments...dont forget that.  self=zero final 4s in his career.  self=first ku coach to lose 2 straight first rounders.

Bill Self is the Big 12 coach of the year. I'm sure he got that from being a bad coach. Self went to the elite eight his first year here. One game away from a final four. I'm sure you'll be seeing ku in the final four in the next few years.

And Huggins won't accomplish what ku has done. There is no reason to believe he can do that at Kansas State except your own blind belief.

You've got a ways to go.
