Do we have room for Leavitt?

Our stable might already be full, similar to our full roster of elite QB's.  Folks, there's a good possibility there simply might not be a job even if OB wanted to give him one, just like there aren't any scholarships for talented players.

Too many horses, not enough feed bags around here.

We should get him some plastic surgery and send him for a weekend with the Queer Eye/Straight Guy fellas before sending him on the recruiting trail imo

He's got a nice, natural smile.  We can build on that.

Yeah, a quality haircut would work miracles.  Then a quick nose job and tuck of the ears surgery-wise.

So, let me get this straight.  Leavitt available, Mangino available.....If we can get Stoops to fire Venables for some unforgivable OU sin (or God willing Mike or Bob committ some super unforgivable) we can get the actual good band back together instead of the sh1tty band we currently have back together!

HC = Venzy
DC = Leavitt
OC = Mangino

...cleanup in 'zacker's pants.

OMG!  :lightsaber:

Why don't we get Mike Leach to be HCIW while were at it?  (worked w/ Venz and Mang!)

Our coaching staff would be like the Traveling Wilburys!  :eek:

Snyder = Roy Orbison
Leavitt = Tom Petty
Mangino = George Harrison
Leach = Bob Dylan

snyder & orbison = old
leavitt looks like petty long horse faces
leach rambles on like dylan
where's the mangino and harrison comparision   :billypopcorn:

Agree with Wabash . . . the Vanier complex is like a show barn at the fair, there's just too much USDA Prime talent to fit yet another prize steer in their like Jim Leavitt.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

No thanks!

Trains for Leavittardville now departing from Pattertardville.

not sure leavitt should be HC, would rather have Patterson.  but leavitt would be a great DC hire, no doubt about that.  trying to figure out this post though, do u think both guys would be bad HC hires?  or just that this is the new hot HCIW guy for the masses whether either is a bad move or not?

I mostly just think our fans are insane and don't make any real judgments about that.

Coach Leavitt didn't want the job the first time because he didn't want to replace the legend, so what makes you think he'll want to replace the legend the second time?

Well, he wasn't unemployed the first time (minor difference)

Prince Ron was the human heat shield in the "replacing the legend" thing, so the next person won't get burned nearly as badly.  I mention this as an addition to the above astute observations.

The anger from basketball will spill over to football if Leavitt and/or Mangino come home.
