Kccat28 the voice of reason. Finally!
Our lack of hitting and scoring is sad.
The Kansas City Royals sent pitcher Luke Hochevar down to Triple-A Sunday and put pitcher Robinson Tejada and infielder Mike Aviles on the 15-day disabled list.Hochevar, the overall No. 1 pick of the 2006 draft, allowed four runs in 6 1-3 innings in Saturday’s 5-0 loss to St. Louis. The right-hander is 0-2 with a 10.80 ERA in three starts.Tejada, 0-0 with a 2.65 ERA in 12 relief appearances, has tendinitis in his right rotator cuff and was placed on the DL retroactive to Thursday. Aviles, batting .183 with one homer and eight RBIs, has a strained right forearm. The Royals purchased the contract of righty Roman Colon from Triple-A Omaha, recalled infielder Tug Hulett from Omaha and activated lefty John Bale (thyroid surgery) from the DL.
The return of John Bale is very important to the Royals right now as their bullpen has been struggling and needed some more help.
Buster Olney just called us a "Contender"!
csourk is the best pre-college poster on this board. way better than oxlp956
Huge series with Detroit. HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So how long before Meche does on the DL?? I'm gonna say within a week.
