Yup Olivo has just lost his job after the offensive performance that Buck has put on the past couple of games...

He has been just about the only offense as of yet.

You been watching the last 3 games brah?

To add to that Mike Moustakas isnt hitting so well either.  He is hitting .150 with 3 rbi's and no homers, not a good way to start the season if he was wanting to finish in AA.  Eric Hosmer is doing better than I would have expected hitting .286 with 1 rbi and no homers.  2 of his hits are doubles, which is good because apparently this spring he would either hit homeruns or strikeout so that is some good news.

Also, Ponson isnt the pitcher I am worried about.  If we keep Horacio Ramirez in the rotation we are guarenteed a loss in his starts.  I hope what happens is they send down brayan pena and move ramirez to the pen again and bring up Hoch.

once again lack of offense, 2 - 0 Cleavland in the top 6

Royals had bases loaded in the first one out and somehow stranded all 3. not much of anything since. Ponson has done okay, had to get himself out of a jam or two

Tied at 2 now but Olivo continues to struggle at the plate... I know he was named the starter before the season began but seriously give that Brayan Pena kid a chance or something if you are going to DH with Buck. Olivio has been a rally killer so far this year...

Farnsworth is awful.

Don't ever say that again. The Yankees wasted two years' worth of their time and money on that hack, and that alone makes him worthy of sainthood. And now since he's going to be a contributor in keeping the Skroyalz in the basement where they belong, he's even more worthy of praise.
"Unless you're a ku fan you don't want to watch a game at the fieldhouse. You'll never see more home cooking in your life. The last game I watched there Larry got the boot and I didn't blame him a bit. Only ball game I've ever walked out on in my life, besides, the facility is a piece of ****."

Oh well. You can't win them all. We're ok as long as we can keep winning series and Texas is next. We can pitch, Texas can hit, we can't hit but Texas can't pitch either so I'm confident heading into this series. This has been a fun season so far and I expect that to continue.

Well we just proved in this series that we can't even hit crappy pitching so im not too confident our hitting will pick up against Texas either...

As long as we continue to pitch well, Farnsworthless isn't pitching in this series so I expect it to continue, we'll be ok

Meche, Greinke and Davies are the only starters who can pitch. Soria and maybe Mahay are the only relievers that can pitch. When anybody besides Meche, Greinke, and Davies start, we're most likely not going to win. It's still really early in the season, but we need  more consistency outside of our top three starting pitchers.

Move Farnsworth to a mop-up roll and the boyz in blue are good to go!

That would be 2 more wins and an early 2 game lead in the division.

 :chirp:
guys-

just had a thought. what if davies turns into being a really good pitcher. let's say a solid #2 type guy. royals could really be onto something if that happened. didn't realize he did as well as he did last year. whip below 1.5, era of about 4.0. maybe he is turning the corner...
