    The very best.
he's kind of right.

thank god for the big 12 conference.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Did you guys know that in football, K-State has pumped more bowl revenue (the money that's given back to the conference after the participating team gets their cut) back into the Big 12 than ku, mu, Iowa State, OSU, Baylor, Tech and A&M.   (remember when K-State went to it's 6 "overage" payout bowl games, the participating team from the Big 12 got about half the money it does now).

That's why I LOL a little when people talk about K-State riding on the conference coat tails.

poor wushats they are forced to the level of wearing "the game" hats and under armor unis. it really must suck that the unis look like something from the LLWS. I mean , geebus, you think from the way they talk they should be wearing new era hats and majestic unis.

anything short of a sweep this weekend against mu would be rather disappointing.

Still, don't want to be mean to those guys.  They get upset.

Really? I'm not saying it couldn't happen, Mizzou has really underachieved this year but nobody has been able to sweep this team since early in the 2006 season. The expectation of sweeping any series in the Big XII is a little much with all of the parity from 1-10.

Its fun to see the baseball team doing well, but this kind of proves the bandwagony-ness of our fanbase (not that its much different from any othere).

All kinds of BatCat fans out there now all of a sudden.

totally agree here _fan. i personally hate those types of fans.

example- i know a guy who is a big ksu basketball fan but that guy didn't even watch the ksu/texas bball game this year because of how ksu started the conference (ie- lost a lot of games). that guy actually went golfing during the game. gmafb guy. obviously d000d is just a bandwagon fan and not a real fan. right _fan?

gmafb bandwagon fans.   :jerkoff:

It's hard to expect a sweep against Mizzou considering the fact baseball is their #3 sport.

We are, however, 2-0 against yellow and black teams.

Congratulations on that by the way. I am no fan of Gene and am embarassed that he is a Missouri alum.

Yeah, Saul is a real-deal baseball fan.

And this is not a thrashing.  Just sayin'.  I'm definately a bandwagon baseball fan when it comes to the Cats.  Heck, I might even have to go to a game this year*.

I'll even admit I turned on 1350 to listen to Smoller and check the score of the women's hoops team when they were in the NCAA tournament.

*IF I do, it will be my 2nd.  Ever.

WSU wishes it were KSU so baaaad they get all meltdowny.  They had 1 sport and now they are 3rd fiddle in the state in that.  They would be a fine DII school it's time to get realistic about what they are and strongly consider the move.

Some good deals at the ball games this weekend:
Friday- Pregame tailgate from 5-6:30 (a good way to start the weekend)
Saturday- Pregame tailgate from 12:30-2 (a good way to spend an afternoon)
Sunday- $1 Johnsonville Brats and "dog day"- bring your dog (warning you have to clean up after your own dog)

Pregame tailgates include $2 beers   :ksu:
“Nobody plays harder than Kansas State.  Bilas said that to me in person,” Martin said. Now, does that mean that I’m happy every day?  No, because it’s our job to continue to get those guys to continue to grow.”

You know what good for him. I think everyone else needs to take the same approach as this Kid.

He's not the fastest guy in the BIG XII he's the fastest guy in the country.

One time I went to a ksu baseball game and there was some family that had a service dog there.  I fed it peanuts and twizzlers when they weren't looking.
