You didn't think I'd take the crap lying down, did you? Let's just address a few things that were said here ...

I deleted the post. I didn't realize it would hurt your widdle feelings so much to be called "classless assclowns." From what I gathered reading some of the threads, I figured most of you would wear the nomenclature like a badge of honor. Isn't that why this board broke off from the other, so you could have carte blanche to be as cruel and mean-spirited as you want?

I can't tell if you are serious or not, man. If you
are being serious, I wasn't singling out you or many other folks on this board. I think in the offending post on the other site, I said something to the effect that certain Republicans and Christians are no more representative of all Republicans and Christians than "the classless assclowns on KSUFans" are representative of the entire KSU fanbase. I never said
everyone on this baord was an assclown, only that there
are classless assclowns who post over here (and you know who you are).

I don't even know what this means.

That's a bit low.
pissclams wrote:sad to see a guy like cattmatt take unwarranted shots at this board and its users, there really is no place for that type of disrespect.
I assume you're being sarcastic. It seems to me this board is purposefully designed as a forum for "that type of distrespect." Hell, everyone on here is looking for ways to take it too far, wheter it is digging out personal information or harrassing someone's daughter on her MySpace page. And as far as my shots back being unwarranted ... that's a matter of opinion.
PS: I see you edited your one post after I PM'ed you. I'd still like to know your sources and where you got that misinformation.
Oklahoma_Cat wrote:I can tell his movie sucks without even watching it.
Matter of opinion, and I respect that. It would be nice, however, if you could:
a. Watch the movie first.
b. Present an informed analysis as to why it sucked.
c. Have the balls to sign your name to it.
Your comment is reminiscent of all the anonymous emails I got from ku film students back in 2003 ... before I had even screen the film. They just knew it "sucked" somehow. How's it feel to have something in common with ku film students?
If he has children, they are probably a bunch of trigs
If you're going to bring my kids into this, then definitely, you need to come out from behind that internet anonymity and say that one too my face. Come on, you little bitch. Quit hiding behind that half-black stuffed shirt avatar of yours and show me what a big man you are.
Rick Daris wrote:I am disappointed that cattmatt would be nice to our faces and then run off to his "cool" friends and make fun of us
First of all, I wasn't nice to anyone's face. No one shows their face on here for me to be nice to. But I did come on here in peace. I wasn't trying to harm anyone. I was getting along. I was enjoying sharing my videos with you. But some of your users thought it would be fun to &@#% with me. And I guess I committed the unpardonable sin of calling those users "classless assclowns." Wow, I must have touched a nerve there.
By the way, who said the people on the other board were cool? None of them are my friends. They're just people I shoot the crap with on the Internet.
He came over here, registered, shared a few laughs and then ran back and made fun of us.
I cam over and registered because I was invited. Someone who liked my videos invited me. Geez, it's as simple as that. I didn't have any ulterior motive. I wasn't sneaking on here, waiting for the day when I could go back to the scout board and call you all "classless assclowns."
By the way, calling some of the users "classless assclowns" is not "making fun." It's stating a fact.
I understand that there are people in this world who aren't nice, but this just seems premeditated and mean.
There are a lot of people in this world who aren't nice. Many of them are on this board. Many of them are premeditated and mean. Some of the crap done and said to me was not playful, not funny, and not provoked. So don't get on your high horse over here. You're sounding like an al-Quada in the desert, looking up at a Patriot missile bearing down and saying, "What did I ever do to you?"

Tell me about it. When people go to my MySpace page, take passages from my blogs and post them out of context to embarrass me ... I am reminded of the film
Odd Girl Out, which I watched with my granddaughter last year. It's kind of a dark version of Mean Girls, and it involves high school girls anonymously trying to harrass and embarrass their peers by sharing personal information on the Internet. I'm not a high school girl. I won't become bulemic or suicidal. But I will call your crap on it.
I guess it's my own fault for making my MySpace page public. I did this so when I blogged from Africa my parents could read it. it kind of sucks when anonymous little cockroaches have to go and screw that up for me.
CONCLUSION:Here's the bottom line, and this goes out to any classless assclown who is listening.
You want to bring my movie into it, go right ahead. It's fair game. I made it public. It has its flaws, and I have openly admitted that I am responsible for those flaws. I'm proud of my script, but I really didn't know what I was doing trying to direct the thing. I can take that heat; I only get defensive when people attack the movie as a whole to include the very fine people who acted in it and helped make it possible. I can take the heat, but I won't let you go after any of them. Everything
right that happened in that film happened because of them; everything
wrong happened because of me. I admit that.
For those like Oklahoma_Cat who flip the crap, let me ask you this? How many movies have you made? Did you devote two years of your life and all of your savings to make one? Did you spend every last dime to get into the international film market in Milan, take the movie there yourself, and find yourself getting beaten up by bigger studios and production companies with a lot more money? Did you take people under your wing, mentor them, even pay for one of them to accompany you to Italy for the market, only to have that person turn on you, spread lies about you, and send their friends to harrass you in the middle of the night?
I think not. Because if you'd been through it, you'd shut your piehole. I know I've picked on Ron Prince as much as the next guy, but one of the reasons I still pray for his success is because did the same thing at K-State that I did making the movie. He jumped into this situation with a plan, despite all the talk that he didn't have enough experience. He believes in himself and his system, and even as he sees it coming apart at the seams, he's still knee-deep in it, fighting it out, trying to succeed. Would any of you be able to take what Ron Prince is taking? Doubt it. If you had half his strength, you wouldn't be on message boards, hiding behind your faggoty little scren names, talking smack on things you know jack crap about.
If you have a problem with my rant, talk to me personally about it. Most of you know more about me than I do about you. Man up, ID yourselves, and show me what you've got.
Or just post something stupid on this thread and show your reacharound buddies how clever you are. Maybe when you hit puberty, you'll come to me with something to say that's of value.
