ku hired Ronnie Chalmers to get Mario. Ronnie understood the game plan as well as everyone else. According to the reports, it is Ronnie that has decided to leave. However, I understand that this might just be a cover and it is really ku's decision to find another assistant. Again, both sides knew what it was going to take to get Mario to play at Kansas. I'm sure that Ronnie didn't have any assurances that he would be an assistant at ku after Mario left. If he did and it wasn't his decision to leave, I'm sure he can file a suit. To make all of you K-Staters happy, I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM WITH THIS AS LONG AS IT DOESN'T COME TO BITE US IN THE AS*. I think the problem many of you K-State fans are having is that it didn't bite us in the as* this time. I read the comment from a K-State fan criticizing Ronnie's experience compared to the coaches at K-State. I would think you would be happy that we are hiring, what you might consider, in a reckless fashion. WE DID IT, WE WON IT ALL, LIVE WITH IT
