No Hassle Groceries was designed to serve as a large-scale fundraising engine for Manhattan-based philanthropy. To this end, we will perpetually donate 50% of our gross profit to various K-State departments. This is a permanent policy, and one that goes for any future stores, too.

See, this is where he's going wrong. You can't donate 50% of your gross and expect to stay in business. That is unless you're totally cleaning house and your profit margins are off the chart. If he wants to donate 50% of his NET, that's doable, it just means less money for him. I like the dude's enthusiasm but maybe he should take some business courses. Or just get a clue.

I don't think any of his ideas have/will fail because he donates to much money....I think they will fail because they are s#it ideas.

order a gallon a milk and a carton of eggs but stipulate that you want him to leave them in his car for a month before he delivers them.

Ha, I just found out a kid in one of my classes is going to do a school project on no hassle groceries
The kid said they take the orders go to wal-mart buy all the stuff but charge you the dillons prices, seems like there would not be much profit in that.....
“Nobody plays harder than Kansas State.  Bilas said that to me in person,” Martin said. Now, does that mean that I’m happy every day?  No, because it’s our job to continue to get those guys to continue to grow.”

Grocery delivery businesses have been around for ever.  Will make money off selling booze and smokes to underage doods/skanks.
