You can't be racist and like basketball.
it wouldn't surprise me at all if both rodriguez and williams end up as four stars, so i guess i agree w. you more than michigan on them.  i'm just not expecting a five star pf to be added in as the 3rd recruit.

Have you guys gone full-on tard?  Why wouldn't that surprise you?  It seems the staff's "blower-uppers" are generally bigs (and WW).

I'm very curious what it is that you base your recruiting "knowledge" on.  How many of these kids have you even seen play?  How many in the last year?  And no, clips on youtube do not count.  If your answer to the previous questions is less than like 10, kindly GTFOOMF with your input, Michiganappleheadcat.  I have a sneaking suspicion that you base all you opinions on personal unhappiness and reports from Scout/Rivals. :crybaby: :nono:

Why do you think I'm unhappy?  I just don't see them blowing up in the scout/rivals rankings after the summer you ironically dismiss.  They can be fine players, even at the Big 12 level.

For Nino, I don't think he'll climb in the rankings because he's a 6-5 PF and probably won't grow.  Those just rarely climb up the rankings late.  For Rodriguez, it has everything to do with Alt Arvarez's ridiculous hyping of recruits that end up going to FIU or UCF or something.

And no one can speculate on the possible rankings of any recruits unless they've seen them at least 10 times?  YOU need to GTFOOMF w/ that bullsh*t.

I'm not saying they I think they will become top 20 players like Kadji or Mitchell did, but obviously Angel isn't going to be a zero star.  He is currently unranked by nationals, but locals, who have seen him play, rated him right along side guys that are currently top 100 players.

Williams is a little more questionable, but he'll be the best SR in Kansas, and more often than not the best SR in Kansas is a 4-star.

One, I was a little drunk, so 10 was probably a bit high of a number.  Still, I would like to receive recruiting info from a guy that has actually seen the kids play in person several times, at several different games/tournaments.

I'm guessing there isn't anyone on any message board anywhere that has seen both kids play enough to make complete evealuations. So should we all just stop discussing them completely?  Or are only rosy sunshine-pumping "evaluations" allowed?

LMK, thanks.

Asprilla was the Sun Belt Freshman of the Year in 2009 at Florida International, and currently is one of the top junior college prospects in the country. Asprilla has narrowed his choices to Canisius, Kansas State, Miami (Fla.) and Hofstra. He was also offered a scholarship by Connecticut.

important to remember for future use that asprilla allegedly had a uconn offer.

Dude, you don't need to lie to us to feel important.  Everyone knows that Canisius doesn't even actually exist.  And, if it did, no one would actually know even a single person (let alone multiple people) who previously, currently, or may someday attend that make-believe school.  That's like saying "My friends the Tooth Fairy,a leprechaun, and a centaur riding a unicorn won't care."

We need to learn to recruit black kids with bigoted, racist moms better.

Mike Anderson is horse whipping our backs in this department.

But, but he got rave reviews when he kicked off Hannah...what a strong disciplinarian.   IMHO preventing Hannah from getting in trouble would have been better.

honestly, mu seems like a perfect fit for mitchell.  they're about the only team i can think of with a penchant for running their offense through jump shooting bigs on the perimeter.  from what mitchell has said, that's exactly how he views himself (and is great prep for transitioning to being a 3 in the nba, if he has that kind of potential).

better fit for him than ksu, imo.

He seems like a good kid so I feel bad about this.  On the other hand, we are the angriest fanbase in the country so he'd get his ass boo'd anyway.

It's no one's fault.  It's the circle of life.  He made his choice, and now we must boo the holy hell out of him.  No gray area here at all, IMO.
