it's hard to keep him in the game when teams sag off him like he's cmer.  couple that with how uw was keeping ksu off the boards, and it is easy to see why the coaches thought anderson was the better choice.  and at some point, they had to run brown out to see if someone could hit a 3.

i really don't see how they could have done anything else.

Very accurate IMO.  He's much more of a liability then I ever thought before.

Did you have the volume down while you watched?  With Sutton's lack of any offensive ability, especially from the perimeter, his guy just stuck inside closing down our lanes.  It was really hurting us.  That's why he went to three guards before half, and then tried to go bigger with Anderson.  We needed offense and he was the last person to give it.  I've been on the Sutton should play more bandwagon, but today I couldn't jump on.

His 3-point shooting percentage wasn't any worse than anybody else on the team. But really there was plenty of times to use him offense/defense in the second half, especially when we were putting on the press.

We were behind, we needed to come back, to come back we need to score points, to score points you need somebody that can shoot. So yeah...

My thoughts is it starts on defense. We were pushing the ball the first half when we got some stops. For the first 10 minutes of the second half, Wisconsin's offense was basically have Hughes dribble until the shot clock was running down and then have him break down Blake or Pullen. If Sutton could have given us some stops so we could beat their defense down court, it would have been worth it.
And the press was totally ineffective.
