Auburn beat FLORIDA last year? The national champs?

%$#@.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

So, last year we beat the defending champions. Almost the same thing.

Yeah... Auburn dominated the SEC last year... they are &@#%ing good. I have been talking to one of my friends who is an Auburn Alumn, and the general sentiment is that this will be a good play-in game.

You guys could beat them. We played like crap offensively and we still had our shots, and our defense was hampered by a poor secondary too. I don't know how much improvement their offense will accomplish, but it's a winnable game for you. Prince proved he can get your team up for a big game too last year in Texas.

I am going to be cheering hard for all the Big 12 teams against the non-conference. I want us to knock off USC, Auburn, and Miami. Doubt it will happen, but it will be awesome if it did. I am a pure Big 12 fan until the conference schedule starts.

I'm a terrible Big 12 fan.  I pretty much want every team to lose all their games, especially NU and ku.

    Hey, basketball!!!
Yep, held that Florida offense to 17 points. Auburn's D is very good, the last couple of years it's what has lead them to victories, especially in JH.  :-X

I want ku to lose in absolutely everything and NU to just lose in football. I usually root for everyone else then (even Mizzou).

What happened to Brandon Cox?  I'm pretty sure he's going to be starting again.

They did lose their kicker, punter and long snapper!

Yea, Brandon Cox will still be the starter. And their defense will be stout, as it usually is under Coach T.

Back when we were concerned with our strength of schedule (cupcake OOC games and the fact that even if we went undefeated and UCLA hadn't lost, we would have been shut out of the NCG, etc) I always rooted for all the teams in the Big XII in every game not involving us.  Once conference games started I rooted for the teams on our schedule, especially the ranked teams.  It makes sense that the better the conference we play in is, the more respect that is reflected in our ranking.  Now, I just want ku to lose every game, Nebraska to lose enough games to shut up the corn nation, teams like OSU, Baylor, ISU, T A+M, and OU to have good enough seasons that a win over them is still a good win.

    Sniff Sniff. . . I smell Heisman.
At the Nut Fry in SC. Ronald said that a huge factor would be Auburns new kicker, he said since instead of kicking off from the 35 like in the past couple of years you know have to kick from the 30. He thinks that they have a weak kicker and we will dominate Auburn in field position. Having the short field Ronald feels like eat up the clock and score with regularity.*

* I am paraphrasing most of this.

I was at the Auburn game and they were nothing special. I think the Irons brothers are gone also. Just another SEC team with speed that hates being hit..  Remember the VOLs/KSU Cotton bowl? After you hit the SEC boys in the mouth a few times, they don't want to play anymore..

No, but if you want to help the Phoggies start up their  "KSU beating Auburn will end hurting them more than it helps them" thread, I can point you in the right direction.  Also, the Nubbies may need help on their  "Freeman got lucky when he beat another highly ranked team, doesn't mean that he's any good.  And Keller will be really, really, good.  I swear.  So we don't even want Freeman anymore." thread.

It’s kind of funny that when Auburn played Nebraska last year that the Kat nation claimed they weren’t that good and Rutgers was the best team that any Big 12 team would play. Fast forward to the fall of 2007, Auburn is now the world beaters just because KSU is playing them. Auburn lost 22 seniors and only has 12 returning starters. In fact ESPN wrote that ‘Tigers don't have a true marquee nonconference opponent on the schedule.'
I’m telling you dumb-asses that you’re catching Auburn at the right time.  :nahnah:
