LHC Bill Snyder just needs to pick up his rough ridin' phone and start calling people.

http://www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=87747&SPID=10408&DB_OEM_ID=17300&ATCLID=1059279&Q_SEASON=2010

Here's a start Bill. Ask Luke Fickell if he wants a promotion.

Overall, this is great news.  Thanks for sharing, Brookside.
1 - The Tulsa thing is mildly distressing but we'll see how adept at hiring Currie is.
2 -  This is mutually beneficial, imo.  Who really wants to see anybody fired - - no matter how justified?
3 -  I like Mo.
4 -  Yup, Leavitt could be a hot commodity.  Currie and Snyder should act fast.
5 -   I'm damn glad to hear the HC and AD work well together!
6 -   Good to hear about Sean...Maybe this helps us on the salary/budget front, too.

brookside wrote: Just off the phone with a high school football coach in the area (KC) and he told me the following (he is tight with some K-State coaches)
1. Leavitt will be the next DC and Head Coach at KSU (2012) unless he is offered a head coaching job (Tulsa)soon
2. Cosh may be reassigned and it's not a lock that he is going to be fired
3. Mo wanted to retire and stayed an extra year
4. The Leavitt as Head Coach is very likely, because the new A.D. at KU would love to have him (he was an Assistant at South Florida) if the Gill experiment goes horribly wrong
5. Snyder and Currie are tight and have a plan
6. Sean Snyder may join the staff, but if so, as a special teams coach, not tigh ends

Don't kill the messenger, these are just the tidbits I got from a coach (presently employed in Olathe)

has to be Meyer, the Olathe East head football coach.  Big EMAW, has sent every good player he's ever had to K-State.

I think it's great if JL comes back, but we all need to get real. We never would have been in this mess if we never freaked out back in '05 when we had two down seasons and lost/aborted many games at the end only a year and a half after we won our only Big 6/8/12 Championship. Hope he gives us the  Florida pipeline back, but it's freaks like us and an imbicile A.D. Tim None-The-Weiser that freaked out and wanted new blood in here. We got spoiled after the DOD and ran off the only group of coaches to bring us a conference championship a year and a half after. Mike Stoops, Brent Venebles, Jim Leavitt, Bret Bielema (inherited TNT and left smelling like roses or better yet whiskey) nor any of the other "Snyder greats" recruited a soul for that team nor the great  '02 team either. If people wouldn't have freaked out over two years in which our players' couldn't finish the job our so called 'coaching retreads" put them in then U.K. Or Miz-Who wouldn't have had their 2-3 year domination or whatever pipe dream they want to call the abortion Ron Prince put us through. In my opinion it's our faults and we're freaking out again. If I recollect, my husband helped me out last night, there were plenty of high profile recruits on their way before we made "The Legend" retire the first time and add them to a group that went to a bowl and destroyed Texas in the same year with Grimace at the helm than we wouldn't be in this place to begin with. Just one to grow on. Give them time...

Go eff yourself

You may want to find a different avenue.  If you can print all of these off and send them in a manila envelope with personal notes on a legal pad, he's more likely to read it while watching Fox News on his stair climbing machine.
