How are the people on gpc reacting?

Half are melting down admirably. Half are pretending they knew there was no shot all along.

Second half actually want Cosh or Dimell as HC.

I've never understood how anybody can have this mindset. What kind of lives could these people possibly live when they always think the status quo is the best case scenario?

The post advocating Cosh as HC was tongue in cheek.

I would pay for his plane ticket if necessary.

You're kidding, right?

Yeah, kidding on Cosh, but not on dimell.  Many over there love him.

If Cosh is coaching at K-State next year I will organize and lead a ticket strike.

I usually side with those teams on a game-by-game basis...when it comes to non-KSU games, I'm pretty fair-weathered.

I think it's great if JL comes back, but we all need to get real. We never would have been in this mess if we never freaked out back in '05 when we had two down seasons and lost/aborted many games at the end only a year and a half after we won our only Big 6/8/12 Championship. Hope he gives us the  Florida pipeline back, but it's freaks like us and an imbicile A.D. Tim None-The-Weiser that freaked out and wanted new blood in here. We got spoiled after the DOD and ran off the only group of coaches to bring us a conference championship a year and a half after. Mike Stoops, Brent Venebles, Jim Leavitt, Bret Bielema (inherited TNT and left smelling like roses or better yet whiskey) nor any of the other "Snyder greats" recruited a soul for that team nor the great  '02 team either. If people wouldn't have freaked out over two years in which our players' couldn't finish the job our so called 'coaching retreads" put them in then U.K. Or Miz-Who wouldn't have had their 2-3 year domination or whatever pipe dream they want to call the abortion Ron Prince put us through. In my opinion it's our faults and we're freaking out again. If I recollect, my husband helped me out last night, there were plenty of high profile recruits on their way before we made "The Legend" retire the first time and add them to a group that went to a bowl and destroyed Texas in the same year with Grimace at the helm than we wouldn't be in this place to begin with. Just one to grow on. Give them time...

Harbaugh is expected to hire his former Stanford defensive coordinator Vic Fangio for the same position with the 49ers.

La Canfora also reports that Harbaugh is likely to keep current offensive line coach Mike Solari, running backs coach Tom Rathman and defensive line coach Jim Tomsula with the team.

This is why I became such a big auburn fan this year.  Looks like I'm still war eagle in 2011.

Might I suggest going the JUCO route. I'm thinking of becoming a Butler enthusiast. A real opportunity to buy a national championship T-shirt with my favorite team on it.... :pbj:
