I have never really heard anything bad about the Fire/Fire HD. Have only looked into it a little, but may be pulling the trigger on this one myself.Anyone with any input on that one?
As usual, clams is totally wrong. Hey clams, next time you have an opinion, reverse it and then it will be correct.

FYI, you can get the ipad 3 refurb for $379 from apple.com. Their refurbs are basically brand new.

Their refurbs are basically brand new. and come w/ a warranty as if it were new. apple's refurb stuff are basically brand new because of the high cost to repair anything serious on their stuff. if something comes back with any real issues, it goes into the scrap heap, not the lets fix it heap.
supported by what? it's supported by apple. it just came out in March.
the 10 inch ipad is too big for what?i am the opposite b/c i think that the 7 inch screens are too small to watch full length movies/tv shows when traveling. why wouldn't i want the 3 extra inches (thats what she said). also love the retina display. thin enough to fit into carry on bag w/o taking any real room up.
I'm going to get the Galaxy Note II. That way I can have a phone and a tab.
