I'm tired of people hating on KU just because 'it's the natural order' for K-State fans.

My argument: Why would you want your rival/'team your really want to be beat' to be terrible?  If your rival/'team you really want to beat' is doing well, that makes outperforming them when playing them that much sweeter.

After K-State's embarrassing blowout loss to Duke, it's good to see that KU was able to redeem the state of Kansas with a win over a top 15 team.  At some point, though, it would be nice if K-State could do their part and beat a team that's nationally ranked.  If we want this rivalry to eventually surpass Duke/UNC, K-State is going to have to start winning against teams with a pulse.

Oh that explains it.  You are still too young to have experienced the true nature of KU fans.  You probably also come from a small town in the central/western Kansas where there is not that much difference between KU & KSU fans.  Experience an urban KU fan and you will understand rooting for them to fail at every opportunity.
