After K-State's embarrassing blowout loss to Duke, it's good to see that KU was able to redeem the state of Kansas with a win over a top 15 team. At some point, though, it would be nice if K-State could do their part and beat a team that's nationally ranked. If we want this rivalry to eventually surpass Duke/UNC, K-State is going to have to start winning against teams with a pulse.

My argument: Why would you want your rival/'team your really want to be beat' to be terrible? If your rival/'team you really want to beat' is doing well, that makes outperforming them when playing them that much sweeter.

Sorry you were so embarrassed by that loss. It really didn't bother me much, as bad as the cats looked they should have lost by more IMO.

Oh that explains it. You are still too young to have experienced the true nature of KU fans. You probably also come from a small town in the central/western Kansas where there is not that much difference between KU & KSU fans. Experience an urban KU fan and you will understand rooting for them to fail at every opportunity.

Arizona is ranked 14th in kenpom. Memphis is ranked 16th in the AP top 25. Sometimes the truth hurts, son.

USC beat Texas by 17, and also won at Tennessee. K-State might be able to keep it within double digits against them, but I have my doubts after watching your sh*tty team get blown out by Duke and Florida.

I ran the numbers, using BMW math and logic, there are at least 217 teams in Div 1 basketball better than K-State right now. Guys, were so far from the bubble it's like we farted from the bottom of the bearing straight.

I opened this thread expecting to find loads of praise being showered all over the backsides of my beloved WUSHOX so color me extremely disappointed.
The mighty SpangleShocks have big time quality wins against Virginia and LSU and near-wins against extremely highly ranked opponents such as UCONN and SDSU. It took horrible officiating and a miracle performance from Kember Walker to allow UCONN to upset WSU and SDSU just got lucky they played WSU on December 4th since that is the anniversary of the Deadly London Smog of 1952 and the WSU players didn't want to disrespect the memory of all those dead Londoners by playing too hard like those insensitive bad person-ish SDSU assholes.
WSU clearly has the most impressive resume of all the Kansas schools at this point in the season and with conference play starting there's not going to be a lot of quality win opportunities for the GAYhawks and MILDcats (see what I did there?! OMG LULZ).
