he's a 4 from underwood's lithuanian pipeline that underwood/kstate had stashed at word of life.
Weird. Looks like no one wanted him. Perfect for Frank.

What sys said, and here's some more stuff on Moose 2. I was under the impression that he was '13(article below says he was a JR this year)but Frank probably said "I need players. Now" and well there you go.

"Word of Life, a private school that isn't part of the Kansas State High School Activities Association, has collected a 23-4 record against teams from several states. They have multiple players from European countries, including 6-foot-9 junior Logan Botica, 6-8 junior Mindaugas Kacinas and 6-8 senior Milos Bozovic. Senior 6-5 wing Luka Nikcevic, one of the Fire's better players, had dislocated his elbow and didn't play.

This year's team is the best squad of coach Ryan Hujing's five seasons. Kacinas has received looks from high-major NCAA Division I programs, including Kansas State University and Wichita State University and Boston College. He finished with a game-high 22 points and 11 rebounds.

"He has got a Division I worker's mentality," Hujing said. "There is no doubt in my mind that he will be successful there."

If he had a Division 1 worker's mentality, he wouldn't be 200 pounds overweight.

Dude, he was talking about Kacinas. The linked article is about Kacinas.

Chatkevicius=Moose
Kacinas=Moose 2, or Jr whatever we decide to roll with

I've never seen Kacinas in action so I can't really say if he's overweight or not, but that's not the impression I got.

they should make all these guys adopt american names when they come here to play to avoid confusion.  of course, ron prince would just make them go back to using their native name anyway.

he's not.  i think the article is wrong, he should be a 2013.

no, 2013.  the article said 2012, i think our original info was right and he's a 2013.

The article linked above that I was quoting says he was a JR in this past season, that would put him in the Class of '13.

The latest stuff I've been seeing on him gives me the impression he's '12 and will be in Columbia next fall.

We knew that.  Hopefully he still visits K-State on Tuesday.
Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Fitz says he's ours if we want him.  Makes you wonder if he's a qualifying risk or what the deal is.  I mean, we aren't laying off because of the legal troubles are we?  Don't want to hurt Omari's feelings?

Guys, I am sad today because this whole Moose and the other euro d00d thing has made me realize that our new coach has said no to kids right down the road from him.  No way he finds dirty enough folks to go get euros and stash them at basketball player farms.  No way.

This hurts.  What do we have left?
