i wonder if kstate will take both cauley and moose.  it'd be a lotta bigs in two years, but when mokan says take this/these recruit(s), kstate says how many.

And Frank/Lamont just had an in-home with Upshaw   :runaway: :ohno:

Bossi talked w/Suther for the latest Cauley update linked below.

Plan is for him to visit Alabama weekend of Oct 7, Kentucky the following weekend(for their MM), and KSU the weekend of Oct 28. We're last   :excited: or  :ohno:,   :dunno:

Apparently, Willie is a slyly observant kid  :gocho:

Asked if the visit changed Cauley's approach to the recruiting process at all, Suther said it's hard to tell but that he does know his young player pays a lot closer attention to what is going on around him than some may realize.

"He's kind of taking it all in," Suther told Rivals.com. "Willie's a kid who is very observant and analyzes situations. He just kind of sits back and takes it all in. He'll surprise you. You think he's not paying attention and then he hits you with something you told him three years ago that you never thought he'd remember."

Kansas State: "They've probably recruited him the longest out of the four because he's a Kansas kid. There are some things for him there that other schools don't have. Most obviously it's the only school close to home that he's got left. They've had a lot of success there over the past couple of years. A lot of it will be him having to decide whether or not he wants to stay close to home."

At this point, the only certain aspect of Cauley's recruitment is that he will sign during the early signing period. After that, it's a complete toss-up and those closest to him are urging him to focus on each coach and what they've done in their time, and to go with what he feels is the best place for his own future.

"If we went into the future and you told me he picked any of the schools involved I wouldn't be surprised," Suther said. "He's truly wide open, he's going to take these visits and really think about it when it's all done and I'm sure it will be a pretty emotional decision for him."

Upshaw tells Arizona site that since his in-home visit schedule is complete, he could make early decision, not necessarily in the Spring as he had previously stated. At least the KSU Cats were 1 of the 5 schools to get an in-home. :emawkid:

“I really didn’t know about this school [South Kent] until the end of the year,” Sadler told SNY.tv Wednesday after an open gym. “Then Kansas State said they didn’t have a scholarship so just come here. And then they’ll have a scholarship in the spring.”

Sadler is also drawing interest from Cleveland State — head coach Gary Waters and assistant Larry DeSimpelare were there Wednesday — and Duquesne, but said Kansas State “is in the lead right now.”
