There is a reason K-State is still in the picture for Perry and I really don't think it is because the family wants to keep the in-state schools listed for as long as they can.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Perry Ellis has a top four schools.

And it’s pretty much the cream of the crop when it comes to college hoops.

two smart coaches hang out in the bahamas.  other lazy coaches waste their time elsewhere.

Buddy Hield, Chicken Knowles, and Wannah Bail recon mission??? :crossfingers:

OK, there's not much evidence to support that theory but Hield is starting to grow on me, wouldn't be a bad consolation prize at all in what appears to be our search for a wing in the '12 class.

*** NOT A KSU UPDATE ***

Mike Gesell commits to Iowa, in what little AAU action I've seen this kid impressed the crap out of me. Tough blow for Doc not being able to land an in-state kid.

Even though Woodbury has attracted some bigger fish than Gesell, have to wonder if he's not far behind in pledging to Iowa.

Offer to Brandon Morris...

http://rivals.yahoo.com/kansasstate/basketball/recruiting/player-Brandon-Morris-110729

That's a good find and I'm not saying it's impossible but I'm thinking that it's not a legit offer at this time. My thinking here is that Hill was our ATL/GA recruiter and there hasn't been a Rivals update since Fall '10. There was a Scout update from about 6 wks ago, partially pasted below, where KSU is not mentioned. Anything is possible but it's just kinda weird that that offer would pop up on his profile with no update or anything attached to it:

"Lots of schools are showing interest in Brandon including offers from in-state schools Georgia Tech and Georgia.. A new school has begun to show interest in Morris. ‘I heard from Texas this week. My coach kind of keeps track of those things.”

Two southern schools have emerged as favorites for Morris. “I’d say Florida and Memphis.” Georgia Tech is another school that has gotten his attention. “Oh yeah…I wouldn’t throw them under the bus. They have a new coach and everything. So, I’m looking at them, too.”

Feels like I'm pimpin CBS College Sports on here almost every night, but they're showing a replay now of a game that Ellis played in at the Adidas Nations Tournament today. I wouldn't say he got an abundance of PT so you're not missing a lot if you don't see it, but it's there if you're interested.

Ellis is #8 in Blue.

1 other thing, K. Hill played with the "13 team earlier in the week but an injury kept him out of this game.

Would pay good money to watch him and Solomon Poole play 1on1. Big time games, big time athletes.  :bwpopcorn:
