Big gap between where Cauley is rated and where JHR was rated*. (and where Diaz is rated)

Meaningful?

* Running the floor means something different depending on who you ask.

One, should want the one, who is fluid and jumps high, quickly.

JHR is not fluid. Hope Diaz is.

For a 7' tall 20yr old kid, JHR is pretty fluid.

Enough to get by, but not really.

Hopefully it's improving (can you?).

I think you'd prefer your 7', 20 year-olds to be super fluid, poorly skilled players. Guys who don't get second place in their team's 3-pointer contest.

Imagine a 6'5" player moving like JHR.

Horrifying.

*What JHR has going for him is that he moves (*all limbs*) somewhat quickly for his size. He doesn't plod.

I hope Diaz is super fluid.

Would guess Cauley is not.

I would prefer all our players get more fluid.  As for second place in the 3-pointer contest, I would love a bid that could do this in the game, but would rather guards that can put a good shooting big in his place.

JHR is pretty damn quick for a 7 footer.  Get up and down the court pretty damn good for a 7 footer.  Passes pretty damn good for a 7 footer.  Being fluid is nothing more than looking pretty while you move IMO.  It's not important.  I never thought Jake looked very fluid driving to the whole either but he was really good at it.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

He looked fluid while dunking on Isu @Isu.

Dribbling is just a means to allow JHR to do what he really loves to do -- dunking on bitches.

cassidy with scoop.  houston big, aaron durley.  figger recruit.

"Kansas State has been involved since last summer," he said. "There are quite a few schools. He's getting attention from Texas A&M, Arizona, Tulsa, Wichita State, Rice, Oklahoma. There are a lot of them.

No travel dates for campus visits have been made as of yet, but the process of identifying which ones to tour has long since begun. Aaron Durley has a list of schools he'd certainly like to see, but at least for now, it remains confidential.

HS(Ft Bend Bush) and AAU(Houston Hoopstars) teammate of consensus 5* and Texas commit Cam Ridley. We were briefly mentioned in Ridley's recruitment last fall prior to his UT commitment and it really didn't make a lot of sense to me at least considering a lot of the big boys were already going strong after him(UNC, Duke, G'town, entire B12 south), but now it sorta adds up given our pursuit of Durley. Looking forward to monitoring his development.

When might they update the rankings for '12?

Bossi on 3/21:

"Not until Late April/Early May at the earliest. More than likely not until after the first round of spring events ends Memorial Day Weekend. Need a chance to see these guys in more detail. Typically going to be a lot of change between the ranking of those guys coming out of summer before their junior year and when we do it heading into summer after. Need to gather as much information as possible."

I can think of few things more JYC than that.
