"Coach Underwood is the main recruiter. I really like him. He is really cool. I like all of the coaches."

Ellis was able to watch the Wildcat players take part in an offseason workout and spend some time visiting with Jacob Pullen and Curtis Kelly.

"The best part of this process is going to the campuses and meeting the players and spending time with them talking. I talked to talk to Jacob and Curtis. Jacob just tells you how real it is. He tells you what is really going on and doesn't try to make it pretty. I got to see them practice some while I was there. They practice hard. Freddy Asprilla stood out to me. They were doing drills."

Hornbeak participated in John Lucas Midwest Camp in Louisville over the weekend, hadn't noticed him listed at 6'4" before today:

"Jelon Hornbeak, SG – Unfortunately we didn’t get to see him in the games, but during the drills he was especially impressive. During the 4 on 4 drill, Hornbeak went to work offensively. His pull-up jump shot is consistent from 15 to 22 feet and he had no problem getting it off. At 6-foot-4 he has good size for the shooting guard spot and he’s a solid athlete."

According to a recent update from the UNC Scout site, we've offered consensus 5 star big Cameron Ridley from Houston area. This is the 1st I've seen KSU in connection with Ridley, but I'm not getting my hopes up, he's already thought to be a heavy Texas lean and UNC just offered him also, so that would be 1 difficult hill to climb, if we even want to try.
