Cauley holding strong to his "OK St is my leader" line, how are we going to get more :ksu: into this kid?

"A promising post prospect in the 2012 class, Willie Cauley has offers from Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, New Mexico, Wyoming and USC. Alabama, Miami, Texas and Arizona are showing strong interest. At this point Cauley considers Oklahoma State his favorite."

http://kansasstate.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1107455

He won't, it's "cooler" to go out of state.

There is nothing cool about any single location in Oklahoma.

Going away to Cali, Florida, Texas, etc.  I get that.  Oklahoma?  It's like leaving your two bedroom home to live in a trailer park just to "change it up a bit".

Graham update from some random Duke blog, info is over 2 weeks old but it's the latest scoop I could find on his recruitment. Good to hear we've offered, bad to hear we're not the front-runner that we were earlier reported to be.

meh, they'll probably fill up the '12 ships with a couple of walkon for a year and then earn a 'ship spring '11s anyways.

According to Northstar Hoops Blog, we've offered consensus Top 25 prospect L.J. Rose from Houston.  We're 1 of at least 20 to offer him and the bluebloods appear to be closely standing by also.

it's weird how unsuccessful hh is given their talent.  interested in seeing how hard (j) pastner recruits them over the next few years.

Man, I probably don't know anymore than you do but here's some guys I'm aware we're after:

Ian Baker 6'1"           Jacksonville ACD
Wesley Staen 6'1"     Sioux City, IA
Jelon Hornbeak 6'2"  Arlington(TX) Grace Prep
LJ Rose 6'3"              Houston
Marcus Smart 6'4" 205 Flower Mound, TX
Our interest is probably greatest in Smart at this point but he's probably more of a wing prospect and IMO he will be an incredibly difficult pull.

Obviously will end up at KU

our staff is two years ahead of the curve which is good to see. what he said echoes every other commitment we have received. the staff has been following me for a long time and i really like the style of play. obviously generic responses, but if we get a me and frank are real tight. I think we can expect our team to get a bit smarter
