How Many Credit Cards Do You Have?

cc peeps if I theoretically wanted to take a trip to europe in late may/early june what cards should I sign up for and what do I need to do?! tia!

Probably too late for a flight. That's why you need to be hoarding points now. Could pound multiple Hilton and Hawaiian cards to transfer to hilton for the hotel.

any good suggestions as far as what cards?

so the BA looks decent, how far does 40k US air go? and which hilton cc should I churn and burn?

110k hilton with Virgin Atlantic card, 70k with Hawaiian last counts I had.

Got an email from AA saying the AA Amex doesn't get you Priority AAcess anymore, but just Group 1 boarding now.  Is this them correcting a fuckup or did they fuckup and now are correcting it?

It says 65 but with the terms it is likely only 50.

apparently we were never supposed to get priority access.    in reality, never mattered to me as I always checkin online, and never used the PA line anyways.

I must have missed the 1st class security line thing, but in the 3 times I have flown since having the AA card, you only (or I only did) get PA on your outbound flight.     In KC, on all three flights the called PA and Grooup 1 together.   I'm sure that's different at different airports, but for MCI it didn't amount to much of a benefit in practice.   And since MCI doesn't have seperate screening for 1st class, that is moot as well.

any good recommendos for a new primary spend card?  BoA has pissed me off for the last time and I will be getting a Charles Schwab online checking account and will need a new primary card to replace my Bank Americard.  SPG amex?  probably put about $600-800 on this card a month.

Yea.  Look at the ones you will hit, like the year of 15k probably isn't a priority so just disregard that crap.  Then multiply times two for the transfer.  Looking at it and my habits, It would prob be 100k for me.
