It was for Stupid Fitz and Stupid Fitz only. Sorry guys. I did do some googling prior to asking you guys about it and saw that someone just got the 50k offer and called them up after hearing about the 100k and they were nice and gave it to him. Don't know if this helps anyone or not.

So like, 100k points is like 1k dollars right? Is cash money the best reward option or are there pretty good deals on junk and stuff?

no, cash is the worst (unless you never travel). You can stay 20 nights at the Hyatt in Wichita or KC for that amount of points. Transfer them to Hyatt. You could also stay 4 nights (and have 12k left over) at a hotel that costs over $1k a night like the Hyatt Paris.

You can also transfer to Marriott, Continental, British Air and a bunch of others. You can also use them to book stuff direct through Chase

Got an e-mail from Chase Marriott for the card I've already got with a 30K bonus plus 2 free reward nights. Thought that was pretty good so I checked to see if that was a targeted e-mail thing or for everyone. Saw the public offer now is 50K plus a free night which is pretty good.

Called Amex on the gold card which I received yesterday. They gave me unbelievable amounts of push back on the codes. Finally, on the 4th call, I got some lady to give me 50k points for $1k spend in three months as well as the promotion for 10k points per month for 15 transactions in each of the next 4 billing cycles. Not as great as I was hoping but should get 135k Delta or BA miles with the 50% promotions they are both running for transfered miles.

I'll try that. The responses I got were all over the board. I basically called on 4 or 5 different codes before some lady told me she'd give me 50k and I just accepted it like a dumbass. The next guy added the 10k per 15 card uses promo like a champ though. I bluffed the crap out of the second guy and he owned me:

him: this is a targetted code, were you targetted
me: yeah
him: why didn't you sign up using the code then
me: i don't know, I screwed it up I guess
him: ok, we will honor it....IF YOU SEND US A COPY OF THE LETTER OFFERING IT TO YOU!
me: ok, where do I send it?
him: fax number is .......
me: ok, it's on the way :click:
me: (call back immediately to talk to a different rep)
