Yes, get that card SF. I recently jumped on a 125k offer. I don’t think I’ve heard of it ever being more than 150k. And yes, you can get that fee back with the benefits.
Quote from: Stupid Fitz on April 10, 2023, 04:39:13 PMMrs SF just got a mailer for 150k Amex Rewards for the Platinum. We aren't huge travelers but could prob squeeze quite a few benefits out of it for the $700 annual fee for a year. Looks like the base offer is 80k, should I pull the trigger on this? I normally am all Chase and or Southwest for rewards.Guess Mrs SF is too elite for you guys? Paging @SteveDave

i've always kinda avoided the amex system because i find their one bonus per "lifetime" rule to be offputting and i can keep my churn busy enough with other cards. but 150k points is pretty appealing.
Can Mrs. Stevesie60 start a new card and get all the sign up perks if she's married to, and more importantly shares a bank account with, someone who already took advantage of those sign up perks?
Well at least I know now, the csp is 2 years in Sept!

By far the best redemptions I could ever get. Especially travelling with kids where we need multi room suites. If Hyatt ever devalues I'm just going to turn into a "pay with points" traveller. imagine living that laissez faire lifestyle. wow, I'm actually looking forward to it.
