It is a super easy spend (1k) and you get an anniversary night. Annual fee is like 45 bucks. The points aren't worth much but 60k will get you $420 worth of them, which can be put to decent use when you aren't looking for luxury.

they usually have 80k offers out. occasionally up to 100k.

no, you have to transfer and book award space. by no means an easy thing to do admittedly.

My hiatus is over, time to get back into the swing of things. What card(s) should I be churning to achieve the best options for flights? I've forgotten most of what i learned a few years ago and assume the game has changed drastically since then. Will be visiting LA and New York most likely if that makes any difference at all.

btw, on the csp v csr, the bonus is the same, you get x1.5 redemption on travel with csr v only x1.25 on the csp, but the annual fee is 450 -300 = 150 for the csr vs $0 (first year) for the csp. so you just have to pencil out what makes sense for you (the bonus alone, redeemed as ur travel is $125 more valuable with a csr).

if you travel a lot or eat at restaurants a lot the csr might be better. but still only if you're going to redeem as ur travel.

I believe it’s 24 months from when you got the CSP bonus. That’s exactly what I’m in the course of doing now.
