I'm sure I can bitch about it and posture to go w/someone else and get the increase undone and probably lower my rates even more, but as far as negative consequences to being in the game, that increase and/or my time spent having to complain about it isn't bad.

call them tell them you live in the city and have a dog and don't drive much and want a reduced rate based on your usage

I have no idea what I pay for auto or home insurance. My buddy is my agent and whatever amount he's inevitably rough ridin' me by isn't worth me changing and having to deal with him at this point.
