Also Chase mushed me for the CSR. Mushed me hard and made me feel like a dumb dummy for applying in the first place. 5/24 is the worst.

Received my CSR bonus this morning

looks like chase took out ink plus and put in ink preferred. i like the bonus on my ink plus (5x office). do i get to keep that, or is it switched over to the preferred thrash?

now reading that ink likely doesn't count towards 5/24 which i long assumed did. the preferred is 80k points which is pretty good.

Welp, Ink Preferred definitely counts toward 5/24, because I just got mushed.

Going to apply for another non-Chase card today. Hotels or airline miles equally valuable. Currently have about 90k MRs, 150k URs. Which of the following should I apply for?

-SPG Amex (does it still make sense to get this?)
-Citi Premier (already have Global Entry, tho)
-British Airways Visa
-Alaska Visa
-Amex Business Gold

well, the BA visa is a chase card.

the 50k amex biz gold is pretty solid.

alaska is fine if you just want to churn the crap out of it and never get a chase card again.

SPG still ok. may as well get it now since it's going away at some point.

I've never had a Chase Card, but they're the next logical rewards step. Was thinking about starting with the CSP and then hitting up the CSR. Is that the way to go or should I start with the Freedom or whatever?

HHonors AMEX 6/2015 / upgraded to Surpass 10/2016
Citi HHonors / some time in 2015 I didn't sign up for one Ms. Nicname got it and had one made in my name (dunno why).
Delta Skymiles / some time this year ... similar to Citi HHonors. 
I only use the Surpass until I get the 3k spend. I don't really use any of the others anymore.

I know HHonors points are crappy. I didn't know it originally. Ms. Nicname stays in a lot of Hilton properties with her work for some reason. We've actually gotten good use out of the pts.

you may be ok. try applying for the Ink Preferred. It will give you 80k UR points, is a good card for spend, and it won't count towards your 5/24 because it's a business card.
