I'm still a little with getting it without being certain. I've paid like 1 annual fee ever and getting hit with that without the 100k would make me sad.

Couple quick questions if you don't mind kind sir.  I do a terrible job of keeping track of when I signed up for stuff. I don't really churn like some of you guys, I usually just grab a card here and there, but I should still keep better track. I guess I need to go into each of my cards and see when I signed up for them to see if I am in 5/24 or whatever.  Is there a better way to keep track than a spreadsheet? Like an app or something that will do all of this for me?

Also, does it really matter when I cancel a card?  I have those 2 Southwest Chase cards I used for 1 month to get the bonuses for my companion pass and then I will never use them again.  Should I just cancel them now or wait closer to a year?

if it makes you feel more comfortable, you can cancel after you meet your spend if you don't get the bonus and receive a prorated refund of the fee.

for chase it doesn't matter.  i always keep them (chase) until the fee posts, but there's not actually any reason to.

the travel credit is based on calendar years rather than cardmember years, so you’ll actually get $600 in credit before your second year’s annual fee is due, meaning you’ll come out $150 ahead with your first year’s annual fee.

great news for anyone who was just going to keep it one year.

was live for a bit but appears to be down. many people saying they were instantly approved despite being WELL over the 5/24 cutoff.

Peeps are saying the 100k bonus isn't mentioned anywhere in the app though. 

TPG gives a pretty good breakdown. Sounds pretty incredible and worth the $450.

not to ask like the millionth 5/24 question ITT, but here goes:

i know being an authorized user counts towards your 5/24, but can you be denied as an authorized user due to 5/24? i mean say your spouse already has the card, adds you at some point in time. are they srsly going to deny you as merely an AU?

Another dumb question: Since being an authorized user counts toward 5/24 would they just send me 2 cards with my name so Mrs SF can have one?  I would assume not, but was just curious.

you're only getting $1,500 free dollar bills while steve dave seems to be getting $2,000 free dollar bills, seems legit
