Each person can only get 5 new cards every two years. That includes all banks and being an authorized user on someone else's account. Otherwise chase won't give you a new card. I'm just going to get a new AA card every 2 months or so until they cut me off and then reevaluate options.

Looks like Mr. and Mrs. Wondermeal are headed to Hawai'i at the end of May/beginning of June for a wedding. Will probably be there for four nights.

Stats: I have ~140k URs, 90k Membership Rewards, ~60k American miles, and the ability to hit some fairly big spends on other cards here in the next few months. I also have a SW companion pass, so if I need to do that to get to the west coast cheaply that's an option as well.

Need some gE heavy hitters to help me plan the airfare to Honululu. Recommendos on hotels or hotel cards (have maxed out Hyatt free nights) are appreciated.

I mean, everyone flies to HNL. Just check United, AA, and Delta websites and see what the redemption would be. You have a mix of those miles with URs=United, MR=Delta, and AA.

I've stayed at the Hilton Hawaiin Village resort there and it's a zoo. lots to do and stuff but my goodness, massive property with a lot of people.

get 5 chase cards each spread out about 15 months without putting each other as additional users and then just pound tons of non chase cards and cancel all but the cfreedom and CSP.

yes, that is a good thing to do and I just did it. Assuming you have both recently run through all the good chase cards? If not you may have wanted to get the remaining non-co branded cards first. you still can until April though.

So I opened a American Express Premier Rewards Gold Card back in August 2015.  My ol trusty spreadsheet said spend $1k in 3 months and get 50k MR points.   I hit my spend then forgot to check on it for a while.  Looked today and the 50k MR points weren't there.

Anyone remember if that was the offer by chance?
Best way to call in and fight it?  I couldn't find an email or screenshot of the offer like I usually keep.
