just got the 50k BA visa. should i have any regrets?

Earned my 50K AAdvantage bonus last week. How long will I need to wait before I can use them? My Citi account statement reflects that I've earned them but they're not in my AA account yet. Does it really take 8-10 weeks?

goddammit, I ended up 300 points short of a SW companion pass and the next points won't go through until after a flight I have booked. Any way to just buy 300 points that apply to a companion pass between now and then?

Also, this is a bad transfer unless you are just topping off like rusty is doing.

Anyone know if the powers that be ever linked the SPG rewards with the Vegas strip hotels? I know that they were talking about linking MGM Grand and SPG rewards but i'm not sure if that ever went though...i'm going to Vegas soon and it would be hella nice to grab triple points on those stays.
