I just spent 100k SPG points for 6 nights in this monster 1,200 sq ft suite at disneyworld overlooking the boardwalk and walking distance to two of the parks. I've only got 20k spg left and the wife wants to go back in like a year or two. no way am I staying in a single room with greater than or equal to 1 kid. so you can imagine how bummed I was feeling about not having an easy way to get back to 100k+ SPG since amex took away their churnability....except I just realized it wasn't for the biz cards which you can still churn the crap out of. two new SPG biz cards on their way

IHG bought Kimpton. Makes priority club points more attractive. Other than Intercontinentals they didn't really have any destination properties but there are some pretty cool Kimptons in the US.
