SO, the best way to go about this.  Obviously the Premier Personal card for 50k.  Then do you try for the non-premier personal card or just go with the business card?

I tried getting the Ink Business and didn't get approved... Thought people made it sound like a cakewalk, so I threw in an application w/ my SSN and a "bogus" business, but didn't get approved.  Is the SW business card going to be the same in terms of getting approved?

Yep can also confirm. It was awesome. That said, the wife and I both loved the Andaz Maui even more. It was had better views and wasn't a 10 minute walk to the car. Overall we liked Kauai more than Maui but the Andaz was OMG awesome.

our room was relatively close to the car.  we were on the 5th floor like 2 doors down from the grand club which was nice for breakfast and grabbing snacks.  their grand club is awesome.

st regis is a sick hotel but think I liked the hyatt better overall, the st regis needs some updating in areas and overall liked the laid back feel of the hyatt more, st regis is v stuffy.  plus their valet lost the boogie boards we rented which pissed me off.  still a great hotel though, was fun to stay there a night.  the view from their hotel/beach is incredible.

did a couple small hikes into the canyon and up the na pali, spent a lot of time on the beach, checked out some of the waterfalls, did a lot of snorkeling and boogie boarding.  loved the heli tour.  great trip, will def go back.  thanks to all who posted suggestions in here/travel thread.

grumblings either the sign up bonus is going down (unlikely imo) or the min spend is going up (more likely) on the CSP  so if you have been putting it off now is the time to get it. Yep, confirmed the min spend went up to $4k. pretty meh.

Also, the Freedom (no fee card that also earns UR points if you have an Ink or CSP) has raised the sign up bonus to 20k again. Let me know if anyone wants a referral link  :fatty:
