They tell you that your forfeit UR points when you cancel. I don't keep a primary card, but just book with points and then cancel before the fee.

This is what I was thinking. I suppose I could also transfer them to freedom points, too.

I can currently transfer all my Freedom points to my UR account as far as I can tell, and I know some were earned before I had a UR account. Did you use my Freedom referral BTW?

haven't followed the whole chain of illogic, but why in the world are you talking about transferring ur points backwards into crippled freedom points? even as like a temporary holding place, that seems ridiculous now that chase is churnable. just run through the inks and the sapphire in a cycle, you'll always have at least one.

You're right, I just always like to think I'll have trouble hitting the $5k in 3 month minimum spend, which unfortunately rarely happens in reality.

Some people are getting a 55k with $2k spend and an authorized user, no annual fee first year UA offer at this link. I am getting it but some people on FT say they don't see it. second link shows ways to maybe get around it so you do see it.

Yes, they had 100k at one time and then a long running churnable 75k but for the last couple years 50k is as high as it's gone.

they had 40k offer not too long ago but the highest current one is 25k. annual fee not waived.

you'll also get a voucher in the mail for lounge access for you and a guest. it can be used at all AA Admirals Clubs as well.

Like, if I tell my friends (who will be flying with me) to get the SW card then book Rewards flights, am I going to screw myself out of getting a Reward flight if they book first?

no, but they could quit offering their lower rates if it fills up. and the amount of points you need for any SW flight is determined by how much the flight costs. you should just book ASAP. they are refundable anytime with no fees.
