got the CSR bonus in early 2017, not sure i can go 2 years without either sapphire, what a dilemma.  might just pound the stone with freedom in between winning the dang day with non chase cards which i have been neglecting the next 2 years.

It's pretty simple.  Will you get $190 worth of points/benefits from your CSP over the next 2 years or not?

You'd still be able to mess with other cards in the meantime.  Just make sure you don't do so much that you'd be over 5/24 when it comes time to get a CSR.

$190 just breaks even and pays for the annual fees, i would need more than that since i'll be getting a point/$ on the freedom without an annual fee.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

update:  Cancelled CSP, talking to lady from chase, they don't have records of me owning the CSR (which i got when it first came out with the 100k bonus).  she assured me i could apply in June and get the bonus then.   AYYYY OHHHH

Some presumably old man posted this on the Phog, and it made me cringe. So I'm paying it backwards, so to speak:

"My wife pays over 95% of my bills both personal and business. I do think most of the business stuff she does with checks. I believe she never uses checks for the personal stuff.

What very little I do pay for I usually pay by check. The person that cuts my hair I write a check to once a month. Dentist a couple of times a year. I bought a couple of suits a few months back and paid by check for those. I also use checks for campaign contributions and dues in different groups I am part of.
My wife and I both have gotten into the habit of carrying fairly large sums of cash around with us over the last ten years or so. Probably not a great habit. It is pretty rare that I do not have a few hundred on me--- sometimes more when traveling. 90% of the time we go out for dinner we pay by cash no matter how high the bill.

Credit cards personally I mostly use for gas, hotels, and online purchases."
