Agree the only point guard in this class I would take is LOURAWLS NAIRN. Everybody else can gtfo, not a position of need.

He's a pg who can't shoot or distribute.  He can defend and get to the rim, but that's his entire game.

His game screams Brucecruit, however his ego says no, no thanks oscar.  He carries himself like he's a McD's AA, and since his game isn't sufficient to get to a trendy program, he downgrades to a trendy coach.

I am pretty sure oscar has adjusted his recruiting a little since leaving Illinois, not by a ton tho.

I am pretty sure oscar has adjusted his recruiting a little since leaving Illinois, not by a ton tho.

He has.  Still, Austin is essentially a more athletic Chet.  oscar will always have a spot for tough guards who get after it defensively.  He will just coach 'em up on offense.

FWIW, I really like Tum Tum, but he's a pretty low contingency for us, so I doubt we end up with him.  I really hope you end up with him so I can watch him play college ball.

this is basketball. we have minimal scholarships to give and giving them to shitty possibly medium recruits is not going to make us anything other than shitty and possibly medium.
