Fully expected. During the Tourny last year, they laid down a crazy stat, iirc, it was that every single player that has stayed their full four years has been to the final four under Izzo, or something like that.

Yep. If they don't make it to the Final 4 this year, it will be the first senior class to never make a Final 4 under Izzo.

Other than one-and-dones, Izzo should be able to take that stat to any living room in the country and get the kids he wants.

It was born of necessity. Izzo whiffed on all his top targets. These were all B and C for him.

So Izzo came out very publicly in support of oscar when Illinois fired him saying how it was unfair and a mistake and that Illinois should have been happy to have oscar and his results. Now he is directly contributing to his possible failure at KSU by fighting over what are for Izzo table scraps. What a fuckface.

Even if we get him, we will have basically give 7 years of scholarships for 2 years of actual basketball

Well, Semi would be able to play 3 so that's not entirely accurate, but I see what you're saying. But any recruit we're going to get at this point is not going to be good enough to contribute next year so we'd be using up a schollie for next year anyway.
