Fwiw the only person I know that has any sort of inside knowledge says he would be surprised if he committed to K-State.

Clark is announcing on the 24th per his Twitter.  Down to KSU, Seton Hall, Mich St., and Indiana.

ISU was dropped because Hoiberg stopped recruiting him hard out of nowhere (according to him).

Did not realize that Gill-Caesar was a 2015 kid. That probably doesn't help us. :frown:

I was creeping on Clark's twitter and saw that Elijah Lee tweeted him.  I forgot that Clark was from Blue Springs and probably knew them.

Maybe that helps?

So when he doesn't pick us who do we go after? Are we betting and waiting for a grad school point guard or wing transfer?

I bet the Mayor knows it's not worth wasting your time going up against Izzo.

Kinda like hiring somebody that has a couple of years experience.  Let somebody else pay for training and unproductive work time and then hire them away when they are in a position to produce.  Not a bad strategy.

Any reason why we haven't offered Tyrone Taylor out of Grandview? He broke Alec Burks' scoring record this year.

Probably because oscar has 2 point guards that he recruited that will both be just sophomores next year.

And if he plays the 2 we have our best player who will be just a sophomore returning and a guy who most people are saying will be the best scorer in the team who is a junior and people are struggling to find where he will play on the court, because we have a
6'8 wing player who will be a sophomore and showed signs of being an all big 12 player in the future.

Competition doesn't hurt, and I'm still not sold on Jevon after his freshman campaign. I think Nigel showed a lot of progression the last month of the season and set himself up to be the starting PG going into next season. Injuries, suspensions, transfers are all too common to not have good depth at the PG position..imo

no point guard with options would sign here, way too much young depth, it would be a complete waste of time and a scholarship

We should grab a true freshman big IMO. He could redshirt this year but Gip will be a senior. DJamer and Hurt will be Juniors.

I'd expand "big" to getting a 6'6"-6'8" guy that can play a smallish four.

It would be REALLY nice to get him, but I'm not expecting anything, kinda like my attitude towards the UK game.
