so i've been studying the situ a little and i figured out that with ventura, duffy and smith the royals might (probably will) win 125 next year.

Hard to argue with Sys on this one folks. We're looking at a below 2.00 team ERA in 2014

managers are dumbasses that can't think rationally about probabilities.  they just think a hit isn't a guarantee, therefore it's a 0%, which is still 0% x 3 batters.  oth, a bunt is over 50% and and a flyball is, i dunno, not all that hard, therefore, players ought to be able execute them 100% of the time.

1.)  Ned called a squeeze and somehow Alcedes didn't get the memo.

2.) Bonafacio actually thought bunting was a good idea on his own.

Either way, Ned has no control of the situation.

I'm not talking about when we tried to sac bunt Maxwell over.  I'm talking about when Bonafacio bunted foul on the first pitch with alcedes on 3rd and alex on first, then proceeded to swing and got a hit.

Never has had a successful sac bunt in his career. That being the case, my bet is Ned called for the bunt. Yost Yosting.

Maybe at some point you just leave Butler in, just in case he comes up in the lineup again.
