Hos comes through in the clutch. He's looking better the last 10 days or so.

Seems like everyone not called Moose has.

True. Looks like he'll get another chance this inning in a key situation. Damn.

Probably for the best.

Getting pinch hit for is a pretty big blow to an ego, especially when you play a position that is typically relied upon for offense.  If it's at that point with Moose, you might as well send him down and hopefully he can find his swing again and get his confidence where it needs to be.  Dude looks pretty down most of the time.  (Kinnda reminds me of Gordon when he was sucking balls. At least Moose is pretty solid defensively and younger than Alex was...)

Definitely an ego blow with the bases loaded and no one out. Ned clearly feared a double play starting at the plate or even a triple play, and clearly has little, or no, confidence in Moose.

Playing Tejada or hell even Johnson gives us a better chance to win. Period.

agree on the no confidence thing.  but i don't have any confidence in sending moose down to be fixed by the hitting coaches that basically broke every royals hitter except gordon.

Royals games are making longish drives seem extremely short lately.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

:horrorsurprise:  Just became aware of Scherzer's eye thing.  No wonder he's 10-0, players are trying to track the ball but they can't look away from his creepy eyes.

yeah he seems to be a total stud about it too. for example, here is the Detroit Tigers Max Scherzer bobblehead doll:
