I give up guys. We are about to lose to the worst team in the league.

Can we not be tards about this? Even the worst teams win 1/3rd of their games. This game is just a game, its not the tipping point.

True, but after losing 10 of 13 you knew a loss tonight would bring out the worst. I can't blame anyone for bring frustrated.

I sense Frenchy's days may be numbered. I liked the Dyson-Cain combo...be interesting to see what happens when Dyson comes off the DL.

Frenchy had 3 awkward, crappy hits tonight. Probs bought himself another 3 weeks.

That would be consistent with the Royals' wacky front office logic.

Frenchy sucks balls and taint but sometimes a lucky streak like that leads to some decent play.

Dude, I've been more patient with Frenchy than anyone, but he's never going to improve, never going to "get it going" or "turn it around" or whatever. He sucks and he's always going to suck.

I'm all for Cain moving to RF and Dyson taking over CF but I doubt it will happen so I just have to try to talk myself into believing Frenchy will turn things around...

We're a microwave society. We want it right now.
-- Trey Hillman, October 2, 2008

In our immediate gratification society, everybody wants to point fingers.
--Dayton Moore, September 4, 2009

It all goes back to what we all get judged on - wins and losses - because that's what counts in our world and in our culture of immediate satisfaction and what have you done for me today.
-- Trey Hillman, September 15, 2009

I know what the fans want. They want it, and they want it now. Instant gratification just doesn't work in baseball.

This is definitely a change from the top down situation. I would be more than happy to see the Glass family sell to owners who know something about baseball and who won't tolerate losing. I remember when the Brett brothers tried to buy the franchise, but it sold to the Glass gang instead. I was so disappointed, and remain so today.

Would Cuban buy the royals if the MLB would let him?

I think Cuban would do just that. He likes challenges.
