I'm still hanging by a thread on my Royal fanning.

BUT if I even hear the words "trade" and "salvy perez" in the same sentence, IM OUT. seriously not even rough ridin' kidding.

Dude can't throw out anyone.
He's an above average defensive catcher, and an excellent hitter. Probably best player on our team, and it's not even close.

I know but he really struggles throwing runner out.  I thought he'd be better.

he was supposed to be amazing at it. they kept raving about his 1.6 pop time or whatever.

i hate the royals. can't just make some common sense moves and win a few ball games. it's too effing difficult apparently.

need 8 years, no 10, no 12.. and we put up with it and actually let ourselves trust them.

#teamdiscouragefanwalkup  but seriously, selig and glass are best buds. they could give 2 effs about us so long as the royals are profitable.

I don't think Perez is bad at throwing runners out. He is a helluva lot better than Pena. I really hope we get a decent 2nd basemen next year. Getz is awful. Would rather have Giovatella.

League average is 27%.  He has thrown out 9 runners and allowed 12 SBs.  So he's at 43%, 16% above league average.  The only reason he doesn't lead the American League in that stat is that he doesn't have enough attempts.

Yea, 3rd lowest stolen base % of catchers with at least 10 attempts against (behind only Montero and Yadier Molina)... not sure what more you expect of the kid :dunno:

maybe he's like rube baker but instead of throwing it back to the pitcher he thinks to much when he throws it to second. I betcha if he started memorizing playboy articles we would have us a gold glover in no time!

I haven't fact-checked this, but a friend who is a huge baseball fan told me yesterday that over the last 25 years the Royals are one of only 10 teams to turn a profit every single year.  That has to be one of the best arguments against revenue sharing ever.
:adios:

I would be surprised if they were in 95, 96, etc

That is poorly written.

Love the idea, but I agree.  Why write a lengthy letter when nicely made graphics and image ad would probably get the point across in a more successful manner.

Basically,

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

"Billy Butler hit a triple."

That was pretty high on the list of things I never thought I would hear.  Until tonight.  :surprised:

Yea, and coming a day after Guthrie's 8 shutout innings I'm trying to decide if I walked into some alternate reality
