Interesting. The only rumblings i've heard are the Washington square location. I assumed that was pretty much the spot at this point.

My last opening day was 2004, which was the greatest opening day game the Royals have played, or will ever play.

Mendy Lopez game tying 3 run homer in the 9th followed shortly by a Carlos Beltran walk off home run later in the inning.

The funniest part is we saw Matt Stairs in the on-deck circle and thought he was going to pinch hit and we were all excited and then Mendy Lopez walked up to the plate to pinch hit instead and we were like 'wtf'. He had 5 career home runs up to that point and the one he hit that day was the last of his career. What a game.

Young stone had just flown into town, cab straight from airport and drug my luggage to my crew's tailgate that day and yes it was elite. weather was pristine as I recall

I still won't believe it until it's announced, but Fescoe is saying the Sprint Campus is the spot. He's basically wrong every time about this stuff, but he seems more confident this time. He says the Rs have also reached out to the Jewish Community Center to see about buying their land as it its right next to the proposed stadium on the old Sprint property. This just seems like a terrible spot and I still don't see them moving anywhere but downtownish, but
