Cleveland just announced their streaming with MLBTV at $99 for the season. Wish the Royals would have dropped Bally or draft kings or whatever shitty service they will be on and did this. They are also using Amazon so I'll prob just go through there, but I have no idea if it will make any difference.

Amazon only works if you are out of market, unless something changed.

Legends?

Hope not.  My source was at a special event for vendors today and it was said by pres of operations.  Alaso said bringing back $5 beers

Interesting. The only rumblings i've heard are the Washington square location. I assumed that was pretty much the spot at this point.

I've never been to opening day. Is the vibe worth paying the extra ticket price for?

My last opening day was 2004, which was the greatest opening day game the Royals have played, or will ever play.

Mendy Lopez game tying 3 run homer in the 9th followed shortly by a Carlos Beltran walk off home run later in the inning.

The funniest part is we saw Matt Stairs in the on-deck circle and thought he was going to pinch hit and we were all excited and then Mendy Lopez walked up to the plate to pinch hit instead and we were like 'wtf'. He had 5 career home runs up to that point and the one he hit that day was the last of his career. What a game.

Young stone had just flown into town, cab straight from airport and drug my luggage to my crew's tailgate that day and yes it was elite.  weather was pristine as I recall

it sounds like we’re going to hear about the new ball park pretty soon.  WSP has to be the location, hopefully anyway

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Whatever ends up happening, something in East Village needs to happen. It's a rough ridin' waste land. Washington park just makes more public transit sense.

Gonna be weird when we have Elon musk to thank for the Royals staying in town... :buh-bye:
