yeah i guess root for the cleveland mother effing indians then, CF3

i mean, you're not wrong. i just grow tired of DA BAH STAN RED SAUX and OH DERS BIG PAUPI WITH DA DINGA. I rooted hard for Boston in 04 but since then they've kinda become insufferable.

Pretty tuckish

nope, he is right. pretty fun team to watch that isnt garbagy human beings

know why I hate WAR? Morales -3.0 defensive WAR in his 2 years. Hes played like 9 games in the field and been fine.

yeah defensive war is pretty all over the place.

for players who play a full season the numbers make sense to me tho. like if you asked me who were the 2 best defensive players in 2016 i'd say dyson and salvy

Also, Escobar and Morales both at 1.0 oWAR in 2016? Does not even come close to passing the eye test.

We really missed Moose more that we knew.

The financial aspects are the only nice part about it.

There is something unique about your team being successful in playoff baseball. Football is probably my favorite sport, but the week by week nature of football isn't quite the same, even in national caliber years like 98 and 12. Plus we didn't finish those years, so that's kind of like an ALDS appearance maybe.

The only sports experience remotely close to the fun of playoff baseball is successful NCAA tournament basketball, and I've only got to see that twice in my lifetime (88 and 10). Back to back years of WS runs was just so special. I miss it.

yeah a baseball championship run is amazing because you party your face off 11 times. no other sport can say that.

FWIW, guys, I think our Royals will trade Wade Davis (and possibly others) for a big bat, banking on Kelvin to become a big stopper, which means they'll rely on Jack to become the 8th inning bridge. I am suspicious.
