I should root for the Cubs, but I dunno, they've had pretty obnoxious fans this year. I think that the Jays would be fun, and so would the Indians. I'll probably end up cheering for Zobrist to repeat for us.

Good point.

I'm torn a bit. I have a friend that I grew up with that is a huge Cubs fan. Part of me wants them to win for him, plus to get over that ridiculous history.

But seeing many Cubs fans continue to suffer is appealing too.

texas is extremely garbagey, but could be a fun testy (westy, rip) series with toronto.

boston vs cleveland is just so effing gross. red sox should sweep, and set up a nice alcs with toronto. toronto will probably lose in 6 again just like last year and their fans will all cry about it. delicious.
